It comes with a nifty clip and extension. You can just clip it to the end of your front rails or mattebox for less noise.

Hmm, not sure. I guess you'd have to go through the list of things to check - firmware version, audio record enabled, unbalanced, levels set appropriately, etc. Do you see signal in the audio meters when it's plugged in? Are you able to check the mic with another recorder to make sure the mic is working?
I will check those things. I'm running the latest beta fw.
How do I roll back? Same thing As upgrading but with an older version?
I don't want to roll on the beta fw on my shoot next week.
Jance,
I rolled back to the newest stable firmware (from the 3.3 BETA)...
I have the mic plugged in...it shows a green circle beside CH1 on the screen.
Audio Record Enable is toggled ON...Cam Analog slider is up in the middle so I should see something.
Under Audio Channels...
CH 1/2 is CAM ANALOG, MODE is UNBALANCED, link and limiter are both OFF.
Not getting a signal.
thoughts?
Hmm. I'm running 3.2.16 firmware. Could that be it? Otherwise it looks like you're set up like I am. You have Phantom (48v) off too?
Yep. Phantom off.
:(
I want this thing to work...would be nice to have a scratch track.
Can anyone weigh in n what I might be oing wrong?

I use the same. It works. I use the extension cable and the clip to fit it next to my matte box ...its all in the package for 20bugs...cool
