The ME-52 Olympus mics work alright, they're nice and convenient, compact and serve the function of scratch audio. They don't always pick up everything you might hope they would, and yet they tend to pick up a lot of stuff you don't want them to. The extra extension cord included is nice because they can't always hide on the front of the camera. I picked up a couple back in August thanks to this thread. Ha! Don't expect too much of them and you'll be fine.
Amazon and B&H both have them for cheap.
