    Hi,
I don't know if it has been asked before or if it's in the right place but here I go...

I learned a bit of Avid's system with an old Xpress Pro on an OOOOOLD Dell Precision Computer. On that station, I could have sound playing while I move the playhead on my timeline, just as in Final Cut or Premiere Pro.

When I installed the Media Composer 4 Demo to try it on my Mac computer (specs in my signature), I had no sound while moving the playhead BUT had sound when I hit "play"...

Soooooo, did I missed something in the program or is my computer uncompatible with Media Composer ?

Try doing it with Caps Lock held down....

Should let you scrub audio with the play head!

Yes, hold down shift key for temporary scrub sound, or caps lock to keep it on.
