My production company just finished shooting a doc for 6 weeks in Europe, in 8 different countries. We shot on the Red with build 21, and on a side note had absolutely no problems with the camera, and the footage looks great. We shot about 90 hours of footage, and when we brought it to our post house to have rushes done they laughed at us and told us to just buy a RedRocket and save the money (rushes there cost $15 a minute). So we have rendered out all the footage on our RedRocket using the software RocketCine. Everything worked fine except for three files, which when we render as H264 they crash whatever player we put them in, and when we render as Prores it doesn't render the audio with the footage. The RAW's play back in in rocketcine, but no matter what we do we can't get them to render properly. We need to render them out to send off for translation/transcription. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be wrong or how I can fix it?
