The footage Mike has - was shot with #0006 & #0007 in test shoots that Mike participated in with Offhollywood. It's all property of Offhollywood and we have given it to Mike to continue testing independently from us.

Sanjin, you're always cool in my book.

Total respect to Mike and the offhollywood folk of course, but who cares who has Red footage, who is in the Network, etc. the real race is who is first to shooting stuff that kicks ass and tells a great story.

In my opinion, the race is still wide open on that front.

A lot of people who said that having the Red would change everything, etc. have a lot to prove. Come on people, you have the tech, now show us the talent, blow us away with your ability to tell a story ;) I have personally downloaded zero Red footage, not interested, really... I'm quite sure it's all good enough! Just as there is no need to download reams of 35mm samples.

When someone does something groundbreaking with the Red, we'll know. Because even the non-technical folk will be commenting about it. So far that has not yet happened - too early for a decent project to have got through post yet.
