I am someone who things that dialogue is one of the most important aspects of a good movie, I think it brings everything together. However I just watched this short and it was fantastic, I loved the roller coaster of emotions it brought you through without any dialogue at all. any other examples of great films without dialogue?

Hey Jay, if you find yourself exploring the world of expression without dialogue then check out Joe Moreton's performance as the lead in Brother From Another Planet from John Sayles – no dialog from the lead and its feature length.
It's a B movie but very cool for all the right reasons. In my top 10 but maybe not for everyone.

Excellent, I'll have to source that, yeah I find that my comfort zone is something that the dialogue is very strong in so trying to make myself uncomfortable and find things that I like outside of that zone.

Near the middle the two aliens in humanoid form arrive and start chasing him.
Checkout the way they move - maybe the source of inspiration for the agents in The Matrix? Similarity is very obvious.

While not entirely devoid of dialogue, I always enjoyed the large sections of 'dead calm' that kept the suspense tangible without it.
As a kid, I was blown away by issue 21 of G.I. Joe. No speech bubbles, no thought bubbles, and really good story-telling. It's a great example of how a story-board should be. (I know, slightly OT, but still relevant.)
