Will be filming in a small room about 12 Ft * 10 Ft in a world war 2 control tower, with a desk and person sitting on a chair at the desk. Only one entrance behind the person at the desk.
Any suggestions on the best lens for the job. Budget is reasonable but don't want to spend to much if I can get away with a cheaper option. I don't have any wide angle lenses at present

Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 in Nikon mount with suitable Nikon adaptor.

Best value, low distortion lens available for the RED!

The only Nikon mount that has its own adaptor is the Allstar mount -- an excellent system by the way. But there is the Red Nikon mount, and the excellent Jacek Nikon mount.

What do you mean by "Adaptor" Rod? From what to what?

We have the Duclos conversion of the Tokina 11-16. Pretty sweet lens - and it's PL.

Sorry I confused you I have the Red Nikon mount, I wasn't sure if the Torkina 11 16 came with a nikon style mount, I am now pretty sure it does. so I have the means to fit it on the Red.

    Thanks .

Tokina comes in both Canon and Nikon mount.

Note you'll want a Nikon mount that can control the iris as the Tokina doesn't have an external iris ring. In order of ascending cost, Doug Underdahl can modify the stock RED Nikon mount, or Jacek at Optitek sells the Nikon ProLock, or Matthew Duclos can modify the whole lens with an iris ring.
