We are offering the following package for delivery in November:

    1 - Red One Body
    1 - Base Production Pack
    1 - Red Power Pack (1 charger + 2 batteries)
    1 - Red Drive (RAID)

The retail value of this is $21,100.00
    Asking $18,900.00 at this point.
The camera will have about 10 hours of shooting time on it. This is because
it's a second camera on a film project. We will be using it for some dark
    interior shots.
    PM me for more info.
    Thanks!

I'll pay the full $21,100. I'll pick it up on location. Payment will be in cash. Please add a CF card reader. It's $500 but I'll pay $1000 for it.

You are seriously selling a RED at that point?

Heck I'd pay more than that for it.

    Hi,

Have you thought about making an auction thread for it. Don't forget that November delivery of the camera will likely be about 4 or 5 months before anyone buying today so there will likely be people willing to pay a little more for it.

    Hi RedGuy,

I wouldn't really want to sell something for $20,000+ on eBay and pay the 5-6% or whatever it is on it.

I've seen public auction threads before. You basically set an end time and date add in a no sniping rule, so that if someone bids within the last minute it is extended for an extra 10 or 15 minutes and then just leave it for anyone to make an offer.

I think it could be fairly amusing to watch :)

Ebay is the best way to go when there's more than one applicant.

You have a point there. I think the fee is more like 3.5% but
yes saving $700-$900 would be preferable as long as the
transaction is conducted in a proper manner.
