Had a very good experience here in Germany with DHL and Zollblitz.

Prior to sending my camer to RED i visited Zollblitz who opened the Customs documents for me (passive Veredelung) , i then went to customs and got the seal for my package and the signature on the documents. Shipped the camera to RED with Fedex.
After teh Upgrade was done, red shipped the Camera via DHL. DHL only does standard import at customs, but they ask you, how you would like they handle the import.

I instructed them to hand over everything to Zollblitz again, and i got my Camera a day later, togehter with the closed customs documents and everything was fine.

Zollblitz charged 80.- EUR for opening the documents and another 80.- EUR for the import and delivery.

I´d go that route anytime again, very easy fast and affordable.

    The same here in Austria.

The same procedure, efficiency and the price, company is called Bischoff here in Austria.

    445€ !

That's seems so low ! I just got a carrier that quote me 2x800€...
Just with Fedex ? You didn't pay the whole camera vat again ? Can you tell
us more precisely how ? Did you do as Olivier said ? Which transitaire was it ?
Will I stop my questions ?

1600 seemed abusive to me, I guess I was right...

For the "do it yourself", you only pay 230 euros with Fedex (but 2 x half a day at least)

I just came back from Fedex Hausmann and paid 400€ for the whole.
I use the red small box (not the one with the big sticker, i couldn't find it)
220 for the transitaire 180 for Fedex.

Great deal. I recommend everyone from Paris France to go here.
