    This is true... And What Brent said is true. New Elpacs are better and can handle more load. Old ones work just fine. You can even use the old ones to power Epics. But the new ones can just handle more auxiliary inputs.

    But Stuart said that just plugging in both the EVF and the LCD (no accessories) were not good. That's a pretty minimal common configuration.

    Alexander,

    Extension cords and alpacas do not mix well. I think it is common knowledge that a generator must be used with alpacas. But be sure to keep them separate. One for the camera alpaca and another for whatever your lighting alpaca is schlepping. Safety first.
