I have footage shot at 50fps that I'm trying to export from RedCine-X at 50fps. My problem is that when I set-up a 1080p QT (full debayer, none codec, 50fps) it renders out a file at 23.98.

Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

What was the project setting? Maybe you have used Varispeed? Then you'll need to re-conform.

My Red is called Vertov after a Russian avantgarde filmmaker, a pioneer in modern cinematography, a true revolutionary who later suffered under Stalin's bureaucracy.

I'm not sure I understand your response. I havn't used the footage in any sort of editing system yet so there no chance that it has caused the export problem. It's ras R3D's in Cine-X that are trancsoding to QT

There is a timebase setting in RED it can be either 23.98 or 59.94.

From within these timbases you can shoot at 50 FPS or any speed you want.

RED shoots film style slo-motion NOT panasonic style slo-motion.

More information on PAGE 39 of the RED CAMERA operations manual.
