Is Red Rocket working with Windows 7? I know Scratch will, but how about Redcine and Rocket?

    Thanks in advance,

    Very much indeed.
Remember to switch off W7 sleep mode, my RRockt kept sleeping some times. Also, sometimes i needed to run the drivers again.
But it rocks on my sys (W7 64)

We're still in trouble with redrocket on win7. The drivers doesn't seem to fit well.
I tried a dualboot benchmark with my hackintosh. Win 7 was 15x slower than osx on exactly same hardware.
Unfortuanetly we do need to go the windows way. All our software is on win and we will need to render out of nuke.
Any Solution for that? Will rocket be faster with win xp 64?

Kind of on topic here... Can anyone confirm that Maxx Digital's Mobile Rocket only works with MacBook Pro's and not with any PC laptops.
If that's the case I assume it's the Maxx Digital enclosure being not compatible somehow.

    Thanks

I contacted Maxx Digital, and this was their response:

Unfortunately, the Bomb squad and us, here at Maxx Digital, have not tested the Mobile Rocket on a PC platform. There are a lot of different PC platforms out there and it proved to difficult to test them all any time there is a new firmware, software, or driver release. The Mobile Rocket is tested by RED whenever there is a new release on a MacBook Pro but not PC based systems. I am sorry I don't have better news, please let me know if you have any further questions.
If anyone has tried Red Rocket on a Windows 7 notebook and had good results, I'd love to hear it.
