    THE NEXT YEAR WISHES!

Hope for the next year instead of DSLR camera to bring RED on the beach "ILLETES - EL PIRATA PLAYA" in Formentera (Spain, Balearic Island half an hour from Ibiza).

Dynamic range is, after all, the measurement between well saturation (photosite blowout) and noise floor.

    I approve of this thread.

We might need a few more photos, though, so we can make sure we understand your point.

Half an hour from Ibiza? The water looks like the Virgin Islands... amazing. Of course, that's the only "virgins" I see in these pics. :)

I had a chance to go to Mallorco back in the mid 90s.... OMG. Spent a week in "shag-a-loof."

Majorca/Mallorca is nice and the biggest Balearic island, but a bit conservative and rich,
(summer residence for Spanish King Juan Carlos or actor Michael Douglas/LINK)

And Ibiza is a wild and party/clubs world no.1 paradise island.

    Ibiza Dalt Villa/Old Town.

Formentera is a small and former pirate harbour island.
Hippie by 60's origin and still summer residence for people like David Gilmour former Pink Floyd guy (LINK) or
    French designer Phillipe Starck (LINK).

    Just to get an idea.

Thanks for posting the pics, Sanjin! I've had a long day, and turning on the computer to find a tropical paradise and half-naked beauties is quite the refreshing change of pace!

I approve of this thread. However... can we get a mod to [NSFW] tag this thread? Just to be on the safe side?

The Third Man I remember those videos. Those were some of the very very very first HVX shots posted on DVX user weren't they?

The skull flag of "Playa del Pirata" in Formentera.

Unfortunately I did not get HVX.
It was shot with first Sony FX1 HDV.
It was also reminder for me.
The video files are still on my server.
Now I thought to share with a broader audience here
to refresh their eyes till waiting for RED and more RED footage.

    One more clip
