I hastily purchased a Marshall LCD651 yesterday because I wanted their peaking function. It's 6inches with resolution 1024 by 768.
Red told me that I could probably run it off the on camera battery using the 2-pin out to xlr.
But then I remembered the need to see the menu functions on the monitor! Red couldn't tell me if was compatible as far as seeing the menu functions go.
So if anybody has experience with this, please let me know!
Also wondering how stable the hdmi connection will be - after all, I'm filming in the dusty bowels of Inner Mongolia for this one..
