we can make the RED experience painless for you with our on-set experience, for instance one promo shoot we did for E! Entertainment went through 88 CF cards in 2, 16 hour days using two Red One cameras.

we have 3 mac intel/redAlert ingest stations with HD Monitors, multiple 800 drives

we have an hdmi splitter that allows for dual monitor viewing (camera ops & client video village)

we have 5 in-house RED Techs that will assist you on set so all you have to do is point and shoot, we will make sure your data gets downloaded to your drives and we also supply 4.5 terabytes of storage for back-up on set.

also we have a separate business renting projectors and playback devices to exhibitors, movie theatres and film festivals so we can also bring 4k, 2k and 1.5k projectors to set and set up portable screening rooms.

Out of interest how many days / weeks / months have you sold today at your advertised prices?

I would expect a better fluid head at those rates.

we have been out for many days since taking delivery and in every case the DP/Director had their own tripod. other with packages in this area charge 1500-1800 per day with a better head, ff and matte box; but those are rentals that are less than $200 total which still makes our package more cost effective. moreover, advertised rates are just that and everyone knows that card rates are not always final negotiated rates.

we want to help you shoot with red. if you are interested in shooting with red send us an email and we will try and work something out. i have been on about ten show and tells since getting the camera and i have not been paid a dime for those. we are interested in promoting the platform and developing long term relationships. we have 20+ years in the industry and another 80+ years in other retail/customer service focused industries. as the third generation here in america providing a product or service to customers; we have always clung to the notion of "the customer is always right".

so if you want to shoot red and understand the limitations of doing so at this date, but also factor in the advantages of shooting RAW, then let us know and we will be happy to help you complete your project in the RED format.

the camera is bullet proof. as yet another example, we shot 8 spots for a local (so cal) toyota dealer this weekend and went through over 60 CF cards in two days. the director/dp was stoked on the workflow and the client, agency and crew could not believe the pictures coming out of the camera.

with each job we learn a little more about streamlining the process of; extracting and replicating data, of setting up the camera for optimal performance and fine tuning the imagery using the current toolset (redAlert et. al.). the clients have all been very pleased with the end product so you will be very happy to have us on your set.

renting red is a bit more than just having a body, some CF cards and a computer. the product differentiation is our experience, our contacts and our ability to work in the conditions of a high performance environment, your set.

? RED REEL ?... are you talking about the Plaster City Reel? That REEL is not made by RED or for RED.. that is something Plaster City made ( and they did one hell of a job )
