Why would someone do this? You're asking for a better camera in exchange for a "lesser" one... What's the advantage? Or are you just hoping someone will be dumb enough to trade?

What He likes to do makes total sense, He has a R1 which can be traded on for the stage 3.5 Epic-X and wishes for some one to give him a R1 with MX sensor installed plus Cash, so that they can later get an Epic-X, this could work for some one that either has already an Epic-X stage 2 form his reservation and or for some one that purchased an Executed R1 installed the MX and now wishes to get the Epic-X stage 3.5, very simple really, end depending on cash that is looking for even I could be interested, eh eh.
