I have a red rocket card we have rented from our DP to do transcodes. This is the second time we've rented it. The first time I was getting about 1.5:1 performance out of it going to ProRes QT. This time it is telling me it is going to take an hour and 5 minutes to do a 40sec clip. This doesn't seem nearly as good.

The card is in the same machine, same software, same pci slot (2) as before. Hell, the footage is even from the same camera. The tower sees the card, the little rocket is lit up in RedCineX (v258) and Use Rocket is checked.

    Any thoughts?

I'm trying to avoid screwing with the firmware since it's not my card. Seems rude you know?

I find that sometimes it helps to completely shut off the computer, leave it a minute and start it up again.
