  1. #1 R3D Data Playback Issues: Corrupt Data
    Hi Guys,

I've got one clip in REDCINE X that shows up as corrupt (Black Background with a Red Cross). This causes all clips to be unplayable, as REDCINE X crashes when I try to play back any of the clips in the folder(all from the same card).
The same situation applies to three cards. I can see The other clips' thumbnails but cant play back. REDRUSHES also crashes if I try to view any of the clips in the same folder.

I tried removing the corrupt files out of the directories, but the same issue continues.

Shot on RED ONE build 21.4,
Shot other footage on the same camera and cards the day before and no probs.

Any help on this issue will be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,

    Eduardo da Veiga

    Welcome Eduardo...
I'd reccomend to just do a search with the keyword "corrupt"
It's all over the boards. This issue comes up a lot recently.
I think you shoul find all your answers in the threads.
    In short:
Most of the time a Redrocket is able to transcode the Files but you'd have to live with the corrupt frames.
RED says they are caused by your offloading hardware (Fire Wire 800 Cables, CF reader, drives, ports, etc.)
