"Quickdraw' type case for RED that works

Finally found a case today that fits my fully built Red (mattebox,follow focus, rails, grips, etc) without breaking anything down (except for removing the battery)... I went in to get the portabrace quickdraw CC-HD1 (the largest quickdraw). The I don't know where they got their interior measurements from but it was only 9 inches wide NOT 12. I love the Red Branded Laser Cut Pelican case but I really needed something for around town with faster access and decent protection. The KATA banana 3.

Manny, how much does that rig weigh in the Kata bag... around 25lbs sans batts?

so there are two custom cases for the Red stuff available ? How much do they charge for those and where can I order ? Didn´t find them in the Redshop ??

That's very interesting. I have the large Red Pelican case, but have a similar need for compact transport.

I was thinking about buying the Pelican 1510 for the body and lens as a carry on solution -- checking the RED Pelican case through with batt's, rails, etc.

Would you feel comfortable using this KATA in the overhead? Is it cushioned enough?
