  1. #1 RedCINE X files sent First Light problem
So I am trying to import files from RedCine X into First Light. I am working on a 3D shoot and I have to export in 4k for the compositors. Nothing I export in...including Cineform3D4k, will show up when I try to import it into First Light.
I have tried ReMaster instead of RedCine X but it is just too slow and unreliable.

Does anyone have any idea what I should do?

Not sure whether understand you properly, but:

Open the Export panel in Redcine-X and then in this panel click "edit". Then from "File format" choose Quicktime and thereafter click "setup". Within setup panel choose Cineform codec and the corresponding settings you like to have.

I have already tried that. I have also tried to export 1080 and 2k and none of them will import into First Light. I'm starting to wonder if its a computer problem.
When it imports in the footage is either black( in the case of the Cineform codec) or does not show up at all. The actual raw footage is fine.

... haven't experienced the same problem with the newest version of Redcine-X. There are no problems reading the exported files into First Light. However, this did ot work some time ago.

So it happened with older versions of RedCine?
By the way, thanks for taking the time to replay to my thread.
