The rules implied that the film had to be shot handheld, less than 5 cuts, less than 5 minutes and of course, inspired by the famous Jean-Luc Godard quote "All you need to make a film is a girl and a gun"...
I literally picked up my Red, rang my neighbours, got their daughter undressed and filmed mood shots of her for an hour. She had never done that before and we had a lot of fun. I then had a lot of fun with the French New Wave as I edited and color graded the result! Shot and cut in one afternoon. That was a fun and constructive sunday!
