Hi - Anyone looked at the Glyph Triplicator at the IBC? This device backup up to three drives at the same time. - Lim

And effectively triples bandwidth. This could be especially useful for a mobile, Macbook Pro-based backup system for Epic, with its crazy data rates. They discuss this device in the latest Redcenter podcast. Still awaiting the implementation of checksum, but once that feature is added this will probably find its way into my kit, especially considering the price tag is only around three hundred dollars.

Old thread but I thought I'd reply.
Using the Triplicator for the first time today.
SSD plugged into the Red Station.
Into the MBP 17" via eSATA Expresscard adapter.
Out from the computer via eSATA to Triplicator.
Out from the Triplicator to client drives via eSATA.
    45 gigs in 9 minutes.
    Not bad...
    Cheers,
    H.

Any news on the possible implementation of checksum verification across all three connected drives or does the Raid 1 setup guarantee that there is exact data parity across them all?
