    I have a baffling problem:

a few clips I imported into redcine will not play beyond the first frame. The odd thing is that the proxy files play fine, (clipfinder) and the clip in After Effects plays back fine. (from the source r3d)

I have deleted preferences, tried different versions of redcine, to no avail.

I'll reach out to RED in the AM- but it's hard to sleep thinking there may be problems.

ok, solved.... However, I just found a strange issue. When I dragged one of the clips in question-from the bin to the timeline- I was able to expand the out point?

The clip came in as trimmed, even though it was straight from the mag and copied to the RAID (verified via shotput) ?

That could have been the older REDCINE-X issue. Are you using the latest? The latter ones I haven't experienced that happens any more.

I'm using 321. So it should be no problem. I have to encode to QT this afternoon for editorial with our Rocket. I'm hoping someone here or at RED has an idea of how to resolve it.

I can do it- but finding each clip as 1 frame and expanding in the timeline is going to be a PITA!

Do your .RDC folders have .RMD files in them? If so does deleting them help?

How are you importing the clips? Do they have an existing RSX or RMD file attached?

    I have a solution. Thanks everyone !

Best option from red support: opt click on the in/out point icons in the viewer to reset the in/ out points..... Yay: that worked! *Also deleting all but the r3d in the folder worked.*

Strange thing is that happened from a first import to rcine from mag.
