cost to repair broken preview out pin

Anyone had to repair the Preview HD-SDI connector on the RED? I'm interested in knowing how much the repair cost. We have a camera going in for the MX upgrade soon and would like to fix the pin at the same time.

What's a preview pin? Is it the bit that's there so we know what it's like before we get the real pin? :)

Oh I see! Sorry all my cameras have had that bit covered with the ET breakout box since birth.

Hope it's not too expensive to fix!

Thanks! One of our cameras had the ET breakout box and the other one that was being shared with someone else didn't. The ET breakout box is definitely worth the expense in preventing headaches like this one.

Hi Andrae,

We just recently had to have our monitor port (M in your diagram) fixed, cost was $430 not including shipping, and that included replacement of the side panel. I would think that is an indication of what it would cost to replace a HD-SDI connector.
