Are you in an editor (FCP/AVID) when it drifts, or RCX?
RCX (build 321). Win7 64 bit. There's the "audio->auto match->rate override" menu, but changing the rate of the audio isn't quite enough to push the audio into keeping up with really long video footage. Also, it seems like the audio is always lagging the video by a couple milliseconds, from start to finish. It's that way even on shots where the actor is immediately near the camera, so it's not an issue of sound wave delay to the microphone. It seems like the RedCine could use an extra setting to allow audio to be offset overall. And probably a more precise option for tweaking the audio speed. I'm sort of wondering why the audio is mismatched to begin with, like it seems that maybe there's a bigger problem in the software when it comes to the audio data.
Is this issue only showing up with playback in the app or is it also showing up in your transcoded clips?
I'm running version 326 now, and I'm not getting any sound at all in the transcoded clips.
I'm doing a complete transcode but the audio still doesn't show up in the resulting file.
