The Freestyle is not a new stereo rig, it has been around for a year or two. P+S have recently developed the freestyle "Evolution" modification

"It is designed for heavily equipped cameras and is more suitable for camera models such as Arri Alexa and RED Ones. In addition to that it also offers an improved mechanism avoiding misalignments caused by fixation of the adjustment. The enlarged evolution plate is 800gr. Heavier than the (normal) freestyle plate. The Evolution modulation can be additionally ordered to every FSRig and will become available in approx. 2 months."

The statement that the Freestyle Evolution is suitable for RED ONE is laughable. Without lens motors, and with the lightest prime lenses you can find this configuration maxes out a G70 steadicam arm. We have tested it. P+S and their US partner ZGC are very irresponsible with their advertising. Beware.
