Scarlet was, and continues to be now with this announcement, priced way below what it *could* be. Complainers, and there will be many of them, (the comical folks who feel that somehow they can't control what they do with their money or what products they buy) need to know that. Great move Red, bring it.
I am starting to wonder, however, if the gap in price between Scarlet and Epic is worth the diminishing gap in features.

So is it simply just adding $1.000 to the fixed, 2/3-interchangable, S35 and FF35?
And does this mean higher frame rates for ordinary shooting?
Though I might have been against it, I know it's a great feature that will turn my
material into pure gold, and it is probably a very smart move from the Red-team.

But I think I speak for the majority when the biggest thing we want is an update on a possible release date.
I really don't want to buy a "Waiting for Scarlet" camera.
I want the real thing.
