Hi i am Gagn Banga from New Delhi - India
I am a writer working with Bollywood ( Indian film Industry)
I have done my training from middlesex university london. Now i am planing for some Independent film Production.
I have some very good concepts and I am looking for a collabration. You are not suppose to make any investments but you and the redone camera is a great asset I have some low budget charecter driven scripts with me. some cross over concepts also ( stories of indians living abroad ) which has some very good comercial pottential in india and abroad I feel that we should join hands to make some good cinema, The Digital cinema is one of the best thing happened for the world cinema.

There are few projects in the planning state... I know few DP's that have cameras on order; you will see some good footage from India soon...

A few random questions that came to mind while reading this thread...How are the markets in India for Independent Film projects...How does your system work in terms of finance? Is it mainly private investors or State Subsidies that sustain your industry...And what types of Western Import Films are popular and work over there? Cencorship issues? ANy information would be of interest to get a glimpse at this facinating center of creativite productivity.
