I just wired my money for the total due minus $9975 for the 18-85mm lens as I haven't heard anything about how soon it will available. I'd rather not pay that much unless it is very close to shipping.
I sent a couple of emails about this to sales@red.com but I haven't heard back. I still would like the lens, but I'll pay for it when it is ready.
In anycase, I'm excited about shooting with the Red soon.

can RED put up a chart of some kind so we know how many cameras are completed?
I may have missed a post, but I cannot seem to find the latest delivery schedule. Could someone please provide a direction home for this. I have not received any emails regarding my order. Should I have not received something by now?

By you camera number you wont hear from them most likely until the end of February or beginning of March if everything goes as planned. They are delivering up to 500 now.

Jon, Can I make a suggestion on your faq posting here.
How about using yellow font to indicate the latest changes you've made to the post. After a while of updating in yellow, revert back to all white and start again.
It's full of great information with a lot of detail...and everyone feels inclined to read it completely each time you update it.
Doing this would enable us more time to annoy Red (for release dates) or flame other users on the rest of the site.
