    Hi guys,

Quick, unscientific, straw poll. What control surfaces do people have (or would like to have) to control STORM?
Euphonix MC Color is already supported, Tangent Wave appears to be the next obvious candidate. Let's hear who has which and would prefer to use which.
    Any others?
I want to make sure we invest our development resources where they'll make the most difference to you guys.

    Thanks!

How about keymapping for keyboards that can be toggled between normal and CC work?
The ability to use Q and W (or any two side by side keys) as 'plus' and 'minus' keys for any given parameter would be nice. Tie that in with a quick toggle step change ability (e.g. 0.1%, 1%, 5%).

    Hi Chris,

Well we use a Tangent CP200 would love to see that. Do not really want to change to much... the surface is a nice layout and easy to use. I have wanted to use Storm especially long term... Also what I am seeing in FXPHD... I know a couple of other CP200 users who feel the same.

    Here is hoping

    Cheers

    Hi Chris,

I think the wave should be your next supported option.

Many of us are currently stuck in the quandary of wanting to use Resolve, Storm, the RED tools and other software and right now Resolve doesn't support the Euphonix surface, Storm doesn't support the Tangent surface etc.

It's not practical for me to have dedicated stations for every task, and on set or in a mobile set up, it's a burden to have to manage multiple surfaces. Not to mention the additional cost.

While I like the feel of the Euphonix a bit better, I've held off purchase for as long a possible hoping that one of the panels would end up being supported across Storm / Smoke / Resolve.

I'm going to buy Storm either way, but if Foundry will commit to the Wave in the short term, I'll purchase the wave and call it all good.

Thanks again for the great communication and seeking user feedback.

    All the best,

    Steve

Tangent CP200 support would be VERY cool.

What do you think about mapping an track pad ? Just for people that don't have a dedicated surface panel ?

We have a terribly unfashionable (as of late) JL Cooper Eclipse lying around looking forlorn since we bought Resolve. Don't suppose there's any chance …

Have the Wave here, but find that I rarely use it -- the ergonomics are just terrible and I'm 10X faster with my keyboard and Wacom. It would be great to have support for the Wave as I know a lot of people own this unit.

Trackpad multi-touch gesture support would be handy. Lots of people are going to be mobile while using STORM.

Yeah ... you gotta do it for the masses - but the Wave is pretty horrific in design.
