I have two RED CF Modules and a RED Base. Right now I am running power to the CF modules via the small AC connectors from the Base up. Then I am running Firewire 800 from the top to bottom via the small 800 cable that comes with the kit. Finally I am running Firewire 800 out of the bottom Module to my computer.

Is this the best way to connect these?

    Thank you in advance
Take what you have and own it.

if there are eSata ports on the modules, they will give you a faster transfer rate...

There are Esata ports on the modules, you'll want to pick up an esata card if you don't have one. I like the lacie 4 port card. You'll notice at least twice the amount of speed as compared to your current setup.
