  1. #1 OFFHOLLYWOOD'S first Red Feature Film & more!
Okay, I promised to post some goodies so here it goes -

I'm going to post some pics and info on three recent Offhollywood Red shoots first - and then post link to 4K tiff's & h264 video from those shoots.

This past Monday - we made a small contribution to RED HISTORY.

On 10/15/2007 at 9:20am - picture was up on the first feature film to be shot in 4K on a Red camera in New York.

(This is also the first feature film in the world to be shot in 4K with a Red camera directed by a woman. We think that's pretty cool!)

THE ASYLUM SEEKERS is a freewheeling, demented, dark comedy pitched as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory meets The Shining - very much a Tim Burton meets David Lynch kinda' thing.

    Cipher Productions Presents
in association with Offhollywood Pictures, Kinetic Arts and Crowned Heart Pictures.

    THE ASYLUM SEEKERS
Written and Directed by Rania Ajami
Produced by Molly Conners and Alex Twersky
    Director of Photography Lyn Moncrief

  9. #9 Igor Martinovic Camera Test
Another recent shoot was a camera test by Igor Martinovic, who was excited to see what the camera could do.

Igor shot the film Padre Nuestro which won the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance 2007.

Igor wanted to see how the camera handles highlights and shadows, and specifically wanted to see the results printed back to 35mm film.

The tease I posted called "Candles in Manhattan" was from this shoot - which Igor lit with only a bunch of candles, a mirror tile and one practical.
