I'm sure you guys have thought of this already. But just to pull it further into the collective consciousness (and to throw a spanner in the works):
We're about to experience the first true meaning of modularity in product design with the introduction of the EPIC/Scarlet framework.. But what about software modularity? Uhh, I mean.. Apps.
What is the possibility of building a RED/OS that can run third party developed Apps on camera/redmote? i.e opening up the functionality of the Epic system to the collective brain of the market. ala iPhone. I can think of a few apps I'd love to install on the Epic.. (RedFart isn't one of them)
