Wheres Mark Pederson's reply! can't wait.
As you might imagine, we are receiving quite a few emails. Instead of replying to each person individually, we will send out an email blast to confirm everyone who has expressed interest once the email influx slows down a little. We will send subsequent blasts as we have more information (ie, the questions in your emails are noted).
Also, please include your RED ONE serial number (only one if you have multiple) to make it easier for us to locate you in our system. Also, so I do not have one list of customers and Kelly another, please email just her to so everyone's requests are going to one person.
Thanks,
BC
Well guys, here's one less you have to worry about. I think I'm going to bow out of the running for an EPIC-M. My plate is full in January and the first half of february. I have two relatively low number Stage-2 reservations and have faith that they will be delivered in March or April, based on info presented by Jim last night.
As much as I would love an EPIC-M, it would only be for the self-serving glory of owning one. My first EPIC has been tentatively scheduled for months for my own personal projects and that's where the M would go if I bought it. So there would be no ROI for being the first kid on the block in my case. I'm not even sure how practical that would even be in my market. Sure, I could reap a few benefits, but not ~$35K worth in 60 days or so. Not when I have too many things that *I* want to do with the camera.
Good luck to all those who apply.

One question I'm surprised hasn't been asked. For 3D stereoscopic work will the Epic M match a production Epic in every way that matters: Position of the sensor, electronic differences that might slightly affect color, gamma etc.
