  1. #191 Need picture and copyright (Urgent)
    Hi,

I'd like to use the "Peter Jackson holding an Red Epic" Picture for a magazine. I need a high-def picture and the copyright.

Movie Creation is a french paper magazine about filmmaking, edited by Oracom company (3D Mag, Advanced Creation, Digital Artist, etc). I'm working on an article about this great annoucement for the news section. We are finishing the latest issue (deadline = monday).

    Thanks,

    Raphaël Carlier - Movie Creation

We do not have a hi-res copy of this shot nor are we in a position to grant rights to use it.

    Wow.

And I just found my 10 year old copy of the LOTR trilogy and the Hobbit. Great timing!

Can't help but feel wrecked though as my bosses decided to go with the Sony XDCams (considered blasphemy on Reduser, perhaps?) for field production next year. I might convince them otherwise once they realize they'll save a boatload of import taxes if I can sneak some Epic's into Honduras by passing them off as fancy DSLR's...which they are of course. REALLY FANCY.

Boy would it suck if someone from Honduran customs browses Reduser.

Congratulations Jim and Team. It's still funny though, the nay sayers who 3+ years ago were saying it's a scam. We've all held the faith. RE: "Favourite Book... best Camera" yup it's truly exciting and we're excited for you as well as PJ. Can hardly wait to own one! --- "Scam or no!"
