There are a couple of macro lenses in the Zeiss ZF series (if you have a Nikon mount). Someone in a higher rent district will hopefully chime in with good PL options...

    Cheers,

...or check out Arri master diopters for the lenses you own...?

Tokina for Nikon 100mm Macro. Sharp right off the front lens. Did many beautiful shoots with it.

100mm zeiss zf is awesome and if you are looking for PL mount then the 100mm Makro compact prime or the 50mm Makro compact prime should be great. I believe that they should be out this month.

I just shot with the Sigma 28mm f 1.8 macro recently and I thought it was great. sharp at all apertures, nice close focus too.

Nice, Chuck. The only note I'll add is that many times with macro you like a bit more distance bewteen you and your subject. It dpends on the application, but I find I like the 55, 105, and 200mm focal lengths.

I am with Richard - I love my Nikon macros - I also picked up some bellows the other day that I need to mess with.

This was shot with the 60mm Micro @ 2K 100fps

We are using the Canon L-Series 100mm macro with the Birger mount and really like it a lot. . . much better than the NON-100mm macro version (which is a very fine lens for the money, but it does not focus as smoothly on rack pulls as does the L-Series version.

As a matter of fact, we just used it today pulling from an "insert" to a close shot of our actor.
