I remember my thought when seeing Tom's last clip for "TimeScapes".
I was thinking that is what we talk about when we say the "Mind's Eye".
Tom you have that talent - so when Godfrey always said, "I am like a blind man, Tom, and you are my eyes." - I know what he means.
Congratulations, this is but one step to your larger journey.

Photo of Godfrey Reggio on the swamp where we were filming. Godfrey was listening to another tale of the bayou from photographer Greg Guirard: http://www.gregguirard.com

    I miss Godfrey!

Awesome - and very much deserved!

You're giving me a lot to look forward to in the future - 3 features you're involved in that seem like must-sees: - Reggio's, Malick's and your own :)

A little update. Godfrey is getting ready to start filming the second leg of this new feature in the New York area. I think the working title has gotten out now, "The Holy See." It's going to be fucking epic.

Speaking of which, Godfrey will be shooting the New York section of the film on Greg M from DigitalFX's Epic M!! You guys have absolutely NO idea how excited Godfrey is about the Epic. It's all he's been talking about for months now....

If I was not up to my eyeballs on my own feature, I would be with Godfrey now in New York.

Great you just gave a little update on this one Tom. Always super motivating too see how stoked you are on the things you are somehow involved with. Every nice production should have a character like you...but offcourse you can't be everywhere haha.

    Another quick update.

I got a call from Godfrey the other day, absolutely raving about the Epic! He loves it. He's been shooting a bunch of really experimental stuff in a studio, with people and animals, and he loves the combination of the resolution WITH the framerates... the same thing that appeal most to me. I think they set up a big plasma for him this time as his director's monitor, and he seemed to love that. Anyway, Godfrey was just gushing about the Epic. I should have recorded the convo, and Red could have used it for an advert. :)
