I'm working with Atlona Technologies, helping alter the current 7" display to cater to film makers. The first version was designed for home theater installers with a 7" SD screen with HDMI input that could display any HD or SD resolution and mono speaker. Since then Atlona has added VGA/Component inputs, tripod mounts on top and bottom, stereo speakers, and drastically improved the image quality (the screen is now manufactured by Panasonic). Take a look at the official page.

Now we are looking for input on our third revision. Strongly considering adding an HDMI out port for daisy chaining displays or recording dailies. Other ideas we've considered are 1:1 pixel mapping, SDI inputs, and of course improving the resolution.

Please let us know what cool new features you'd find most useful.
