    THIS CAMERA HAS BEEN SOLD.

    Hi all,

the very first Red One camera in Japan, Red #378, is now for sale!

Here's a full list of what's included in the package (with US$ values of new items in brackets):

Red One Mysterium-X Digital Cinema Camera (US$25,000)
Red LCD 5.6” with Arm (US$1,700)
    Red Brick Charger x2 (US$1,100)
    Red Brick (140WHr Li-Ion Battery) x4 (US$1,800)
    AC Power Adaptor (US$135)
    RedDrive 320GB (US$900)
    Red Drive Cable (US$200)
    Red CompactFlash Adaptor (US$500)
    Red 8GB CompactFlash Card x4 (US$660)
Red Rail Base Production Pack (US$1,250)
    + Top Mount (US$250)
    + Red Handle (Left) (US$250)
    + Top Handle Extension (US$175)
    + Focus Hook Set (US$45)
    + Red Cheese Plate (US$300)
    + Universal Mount (US$125)
    Element Technica 12” Top Rods (19mm) x2 (US$100)
    RedRockMicro Matte Box 19mm (US$840)
Element Technica BNC Breakout Box (US$500)
    Storm iM2975 Camera Case (US$500)
Storm iM2300 Matte Box Case (US$200)
    Mogami 4 mini-XLR to XLR cable (US$100)
AllStar Slidebase for Red Base (US$100)

    TOTAL VALUE NEW: US$36,780

Total selling price excluding shipping: JPY 2,205,000 which is the equivalent of roughly US$27,000 by today's exchange rates.

I shipped a previous similar Red One package to India for just under US$1,000 using Fedex so I would assume costs will be the same or lower for shipment to the US or elsewhere.

I also have a Birger EF mount with Viewfactor remote follow focus that can be added to the package for JPY 105,000 (roughly US$1,300). I will only sell this separately if the camera package is sold without the option being taken.

Finally, I also have a Formatt IRND Set (0.3, 0.6, 0.9, 1.2IR, Clear IR) which can be added to the package for an additional JPY 80,000 (roughly US$950).

Also one small note on the RedDrive, the FW800 port doesn't work (a common flaw on the RedDrive) but the FW400 and USB2.0 ports work just fine.

I can also help you to get the new side SSD module if you want to go in that direction, for whatever it costs new from Red.

Please PM or email me (via my website) if you are interested.

NOTE: The camera has already been executed for Stage 2 Epic which I will be keeping. You can however take immediate delivery of this Red One MX package for the quoted price minus $1 lease/buyout, to be paid once my Epic has shipped.

    Cheers from Tokyo,

    Paul
