This is my last post in one of your threads EVER - but I will take this excerpt direct from the site I ordered mine from just to show you that YOU are the one who needs to do your research before you try submarining other people's efforts:

Quoted directly from Hot Rod Cameras where I ordered:
"This is a professional grade product which features such important features like Peaking/Focus Assist, Image Flip, Monochrome Viewing, Underscan, Pixel to Pixel mapping, diopter adjustment and HDMI loop through."

    as seen Here:
    http://www.hotrodcameras.com/product/cineroid-hd-evf/

an eyepiece chamois does not make it a new product.

Thanks Jacek. Looks like a nice cheaper option for Scarlet down the road too.
Can it display the Red data info too, or just the video image?

No RED data, just the time code and clip number. But, man, does it have a big image. And is very light. I don't miss my RED EVF at all. Does it have the same resolution? Oh, heck, no. But, I did several hours of hand held a couple of days ago and the weight difference was huge. It does have peaking, so that helps if you are pulling your own focus. The 1:1 zoom in feature helps a lot, as well.

Thanks for the feedback Larry. Seem like a nice economical option for a Scarlet.

I would be interested in this if it were HD-SDI. HDMI just has not been that great of a connector day in and day out on set ...

Agree, they are delicate and extremely sensitive to any contamination. At least with the newer locking variety they are more secure.
