Anyone knows a console command to disable the rocket driver inside MC5.
We have a custom converter engine that only grabs the rocket when a conversion occurs, but when MC5 is open the rocket can't be utilized because Avid is occupieng it.

Also, can you disable the automatic AMA bin creation?

As we only operate with DNxHD files made with our custom software, there is no need to get these bins created.

Thanks in advance for any input!

disable AMA by going to SETTINGS tab in AVID & AMA is at the top.
    double click
go to last tab VOLUME MOUNTING and uncheck the "Enable AMA Volume Management" box.

that should do the trick for that one - don't know about the red rocket issue...

There is no way to enable or disable Rocket card from within the application once it's running. If something else is using Rocket card before MC launches, then it won't be on for MC.

Thanks Wayne. Somehow I missed that one :-(

Michael, too bad I guess :-(
Would be nice to be able to disable it like in Redcine-X, whereyou have to restart the app for the setting to apply.

I wil make an applescript Avid launcher as a workaround then.
