Other thing to remember that the chroma denoise in RC-X sw demosaic is just that - and on a lot of footage you just don't see the effect. When you do, it's great though, but it's very specific. If you're interested in general NR, best use a good temporal NR that is supported by the tools you're using.

Rocket works very well in a finnishing chain.

There are Images that may come better out with software decode, but after I discovered the RGB curves in RCX, which I can use to emulate the DRX function, I haven't really looked back....
