Seeking ~30 seconds stock footage of a deer grazing and running shot on a RED camera. The footage will be used in a feature film shot on the RED currently in post.

Does anyone have any good sources for stock footage they can share? Any and all ideas welcomed.

    Justin,

We took some stuff out in yellowstone last year. Check out the yellowstone clip on my website and see if there is anything you can use. There is probably a little more on the cutting room floor as well.

You might try Steve Gibby who is a member of this forum. His company I believe is Mammoth Productions (Films?).

I have a shot of two deer grazing, I am not sure how long it runs, I would need to dig up the r3d to find out, probably 20-30 seconds.

This is what it looks like trimmed down to 11 sec.

Kennan Ward is bound to have what you need. Might give him a shout.

Or MammothHD, Clark Dunbar is the owner.

I've got plenty of dear running in my backyard. I can shoot whatever you need. However there is plenty of snow up here and they usually run in packs so if want more detail shoot me a pm.

Thanks for the referral Chuck - Mammoth HD isn't my company, but I was one of the original guys who helped them get started with Red footage, and they have represented my footage before.

Thank you for the very kind words Ketch :)

    John S,

I've shot huge amounts of Red footage featuring adventure travel, alternative sports, music, lifestyle, tourism, cultures, and wildlife. I do have some excellent deer shots, but they're not individual deer, but pastoral shots of small groups of deer feeding in meadows in the Rocky Mountains. The shots are in nice late afternoon light, in 4k.

If you'd like to get a feel for my styles of Red cinematography here's a link to my Artbeats Red Library.
    http://www.artbeats.com/footage/search?fh44=1

There are about 650 clips in that library, which is but a small fraction of my overall Red library. Unfortunately there are no deer in my Artbeats Red Library, and I don't have access to my comprehensive Red library until Monday. How soon do you need previews and shots?

Justin, Steve is a great resource, I highly recommend him. If he is not able to help, you might want to check the options in this link:

In particular, this shot sounds like what you are requesting (27 seconds long, shot on Red):
