    It's such a shame...

All the hard working people are the one always getting ripped off...

    Sad, really.

Being robbed the first time made me incredibly angry for ages after. Try and let it go as soon as possible - the emotion and the stress is too damaging to yourself. Hold on to the fact no one was hurt.

While we can all do all we can, and hope it is recovered and the culprits caught and punished, it's healthier to just let it go in your own minds. And don't beat yourself up about whether any of it was your fault either! It wasn't.

I feel with you, break-ins happened twice in my office with lots of stuff gone. It hurts deep down.

You have not let anyone down, Mark. Whatever the reason for this theft was, there was no way it could have been anticipated, expected or avoided.

As for the corporate job theory : I doubt that a professional contract thief would risk human lives and break in while everybody is at home.

despite the shock, please have a good new year´s eve with your family!

It would be great for the EPIC to be able to take advantage of the GPS device already within the camera for this kind of unfortunate event...

these guys are right. as long as you take care of the people you love, you haven't let anybody down. we're fully in support of you, we're with you.

many of us here have been through similar circumstances, possibly worse.

you can spend the rest of your life trying to relive the past. its over, and thank god. the anger, the confusion, the disappointment, the heartache, the guilt. you're going to have to let it go. watch your perspective closely... it's everything. we're behind you 100%.

Mark, so very sorry to hear you and your family were in danger. Hopefully someone will muster the means to hire a proficient tracker.

I remember, years ago, our car got broken into on Sardinia, all our books and stuff stolen ... one might say that's nothing but in the end we really had to move elsewhere to put the anger and fear behind us in order to be able to enjoy the rest of our stay.

    Be safe, be good

I hope they catch the scumbags who did this. I'm glad to hear you and your family is okay (under the circumstances) Mark. Everyone - keep alert and hopefully we can show them how powerful the fellowship of the redusers is!

When the British government loses something in the Alps, they send in 007.

If Elvis has left the building, perhaps it's time to send in Bond.

    What do you think, Jim?

Mark ... I think you would be hard pressed to find someone here who thinks you let anyone down.

Try your best to shake it off, and never forget what's most important.
