Google turns up images of an ET Arri dovetail that can replace the QR plate on an O'Connor 1030 but I don't see this on ET's current site. Anybody know if this or something comparable is available anywhere?

    Thx,
    CB

It appears they have been discontinued.

I don't know, but maybe they are redesigning it for new Epic support systems.

Yeah, I believe that was the old design and the new design, listed above that, only references the bigger heads. I'll send 'em a note.

    Thanks

ALLSTAR made a 1030 plate at one point too. I have one and it's great.

I believe that one interfaces with the Red Bottom Plate, yeah? I'm in the middle of ordering an Allstar Shoulder rig and trying to decide on my exact setup. The 1030 is on order with abel.

The old dovetail that fit the 1030

The new one which seems to be only for the 2060/2575/120EX

The one I have looks like this. It seems that the bottom is square though in the photo so he may have changed the design. I'd shoot him a message.

Did he actually make one like that that fit the 1030? I'll send him a quick note. He has the one dovetail that fits the Red Bottom Clamp and will slide into a 1030 and then he has an Arri dovetail (your photo) that reads as just mounting to whatever QR your tripod has.

No, the old one didn't work with the Red Bottom Plate. I don't think any of them did unless you did some modifications.

The new one for the 2060/2575 is actually not new. They have had it available since the beginning. All they did was discontinue the 1030.
