  1. #1 Avid AAF/ALE Export
Didn't scan all the previous posts, but want to make sure export to Avid MXF with AAF/ALE files are in the works. When shooting commercials, our responsibility on all our spec sheets from agencies is to transcode the footage for use in an Avid MC. Either we use Dino for the DIT and he does it on set or we do it back at the office from Red Cine-X . STORM looks fantastic, but without the full Export for AVID like RedCine does, then it almost becomes a paperweight to me. Maybe full Avid support has been added in the new Beta 7 or in future plans, but I thought it was important to put in a word as a typical production company that shoots spots with lots of agencies and post houses that all demand the exact same thing.

We hear you Chris (and many others) and it is definitely on the roadmap, not sure on delivery yet though.
