It seems kinda ironic seeing the piratebay logo on a movie poster...

You don't even need the pirate bay. :)

This sounds like a pretty cool, innovative idea. Not to be as much of a plug as I'm sure it will sound, but I work for a company that offers digital distribution for iTunes and other such services. You can check out the website here:

http://quiver-dist.com/ (as of right now, the site is currently down, but if you want to check back later, it gives all the details) or pm me if you have any questions....you can also check us out at www.premieredigital.net.

Again, not trying to plug, but if there is anyone here interested in independent distribution, there are plenty of routes to go...I like this frame donation idea though :-)

Thanks for the vote of confidence guys... We have something to announce about the film very soon that might send the distribution world into a bit of an upset!

Sorry, had been away attending to non reduser things.. (Like fires, floods, hurricanes...)

Ketch, More than happy to collaborate with you in future. It's a shame you are moving back to Italy. When? My partner just moved to LA from Sydney this week and I'll be following suit in a few months...(After years of being stuck on this god forsaken island!).

Many thanks Eren, we're just fine in Sydney. Just happened to have disasters follow me wherever I traveled here!

I wish I could say more at this point, but until certain things are inked we're holding off. Stay tuned. Tech blogs are going to be all over it!

Very cool service, I hope to see it available soon!

Also, I think this "buy a frame" distribution method is a really great idea. Good luck with it! Everything in this world is moving to independent development/distribution whether it be movies/software/books. The tools and distribution methods available to consumers are just getting better and better.
