One of my drives will shoot for 30sek fine, but longer takes will cause it to hang in "POST". Sometimes it will complete "POST" if I let it wait for 2-3minutes.
Tried to format it multiple times and even tried to rewrite it completely with zeroes(FAT32) on my macbook pro and then format it with the camera, but no difference....Any suggestions?

Have you tried turning QT PROXIES off? This will abandon the POST process completely. You can easily build PROXIES (QT WRAPPERS) in RedCine X.
