hmmm... anybody else notice the serial sticker for the lcd?
I don't wanna spoil the party, because I myself am overly excited
but I find it weird on these heavily designed megacool gadgets,
to find that kind of oversized, white "homemade" tape.
I can't help it, but my eyes are fixed on the tape and not on the "RED PRO 5.0"

I know, as a designer, I'm a pain in the *** when it comes to tiny details such as these.
But I can't help but notice anyway.
Wouldn't it be way cooler to maybe have it on an aluminum embossed label?
    like http://global.dymo.com/enCA/LabelAtt..._LetraTag.html
http://content.etilize.com/Large/11962450.jpg (the last ones are non sticky, but the look is similar)
or maybe white or silver type on a black tape?

or is that just a temporary thing, so the Ms can get out quick!?

As I said, I don't wanna be a pain, but I can't help but notice. Any thoughts?

Once more, this is tiny and not really important, but still I wanted to ask.

Gibby, Ketch, keep up the party :)

Thanks Franck, correct, the FN five-seven is made in Belgium, an absolute
state of the art machinery, this Gun is light as a feather, more powerful then
a 9mm yet less then one third the kick, a joy to use and a very good
protection, always with me for protection ;)

Thank you so very much for all the great comments and kind wishes posted on this thread while the crew was getting some sleep! Red User is a big worldwide family now, and its just incredible to see the outpouring of support for each other here. Thank you...

We're naturally way stoked to put Epic to work out into the natural world! Beyond that, since each of our crew has this really great chance to be among the first to shoot Epic and document it, we as a crew are also way happy to share our experiences with our Red Family here. Its impossible for your guys to be here with us, but hopefully what we share will in a way bring you out here with us and include you on our crew.

Each of these days we'll document the whole day with Pam shooting 35mm stills with her Canon 5D and kit of L series lenses, and Joseph shooting video with his Z1. We already posted a ton of those stills, plus two of Joseph's videos here and with complete links on the Recon forum M8 thread.

Expect to see some more fun pics and video tonight from today's adventures :)

We were definitely like big kids when we opened to box - pure euphoria! There's just something seriously amazing about the first view of some cool new tools for us to put into our work.

On Joseph's first video (link on the M8 Recon thread) you can see the whole sequence - hoops, hollers, parer flying in the air, sighs, stares, and tons of smiles :)

HUGE congrats guys! I can't wait to have Epic-X arrive and once again be like a kid on Christmas day, ripping into the new presents Santa brought (in this case, Jim)!

    Cheers from Tokyo,

Wow, Jim's been holding out on us. Didn't know that Epic came with the Spiderman feature. Does that go for the cast version too?
