Well, the camera will have the ability to use interchangeable mounts, but to the best of my knowledge, no Pentax mounts are being produced. So assuming there is a sufficient desire to use Pentax-110 lenses, then a manufacturer will no doubt provide a product.

If not, you may wish to consider pursuing the project at a machine shop, and have one custom made.

That's an interesting question. I remember the release of the 110, and people going into raptures over the lens quality and test results. Are they still considered that good?

lets put it this way... the first time I shot with the 18mm 2.8 I was amazed... they really are great lenses, and would love to use them on the scarlet... either someone comes out with a mount or I take it to my local cnc shop and make my own mount, out of titanium, or copper, or some other cool metal...

That's worth thinking about for sure... the bit I remember (from 1981! Funny what sticks in your mind..) was a test that basically found the resolving power was far beyond the ability of any currently available 110 emulsion to record. So they rigged something up with some very special film stock, and found the final numbers were something mind-boggling.

Maybe it would indeed hold up on a 3K 2/3" chip... have the 110 lenses been used for any other cine applications? I seem to remember vaguely hearing about 4/3 adapters for them...

Maybe time to get on ebay... they're still dirt-cheap.

CCtV lenses designed for 2/3" single chip cameras will work just fine.
